Chassis No. ZA9H12UAXJSF76045 The creation of a supercar manufacturer with lasting impact is so rare that it deserves its own term. Many burn brightly before fading away, while established brands endure, offering more than just speed and striking designs. Horacio Paganiâs namesake company, Pagani Automobili, stands as the very exception that proves the rule. From his roots in Argentina to his work with Lamborghini on the Countach Evoluzione and the 25th Anniversary Edition, Paganiâs creations embody a unique blend of visionary design and advanced materialsâqualities that have become hallmarks of the brandâs enduring legacy. To raise capital for the companyâs first car, Pagani produced composite components for several well-known manufacturers and motorsports teams based in the Emilia-Romagna region also known as Italyâs "Motor Valley.â Not only did these projects put Pagani Automobili on solid financial footing, but he and his craftsman were gaining a deeper Leonardi da Vinci-inspired âart and scienceâ knowledge of carbon fiber weaves and layering that would prove so crucial to the Zonda project. It has been recounted numerous times that those invited to inspect the first Zonda C12 were not solicited for a deposit. This tends to be common practice among other small-volume sports and supercar makers showing a new model to select clientele, yet that very first Zonda was very close to type-approval with E-marked glass and an inked deal with Mercedes-Benz to provide the exceptional 6.0-liter V12âall sure signs of Horatioâs seriousness. As is well-known among any with a hint of interest in supercars, the Zonda survived a quarter of a century in myriad forms building the Pagani myth. Yet, among hypercar manufacturers, there is always a lingering fear of being a one-hit wonder. The Huayra, that made its debut in 2011 in Milan, would see that Pagani would remain in fine form well into the 2020s. In a similar vein to the Zonda, Pagani would create a number of different open and closed variants of their new hypercar. All would hew closely to the same form: a specially built 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 pushing a chassis hand-crafted from the finest carbon fiber, suspended by completely custom components, all built bespoke to the customerâs wishes. The long-rumored Huayra Roadster would make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show as one of the most anticipated automobile launches of all-time. Pagani himself said that the Huayra Roadster was âthe most complicated project we have ever undertaken.â The Roadster, produced in a limited run of 100 units, leveraged the advanced engineering of the Huayra BCâa track-focused version of the Huayraâand showcased a sharper, more aggressive design than the Coupe. The new Roadster design with conventional doors featured advanced active aerodynamics, including pop-up flaps that optimized stability and drag for ultimate aerodynamic performance. Each Mercedes-AMG twin-turbocharged V12 was built specifically for Pagani by Michael Kübler delivering 754 horsepower and 1,100 nm of torque through an Inconel Titanium exhaust system, outpacing even the track-focused Huayra BC. This power, paired with a lightweight seven-speed automated manual (sequential) transmission, enabled a blistering run to 62 miles per hour in three seconds and a top speed of 210. Perhaps most impressive, Pagani achieved an ambitious goal: crafting a roadster lighter than the coupe, thanks to a reimagined carbon-titanium weave tub. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes ensured exceptional stopping power, complementing its unparalleled handling while a standard Front Lifting System ensured ease of use in delicate situations. As Pagani himself stated, this creation embodies both a technical and human effort that, in a message to his clients, he hoped would âtouch you, rationally and emotionally.â He needn't have worried. Each of the 100 Roadsters was sold out upon the modelâs Geneva debut such is the devotion to Paganiâs latest creations. Each Huayra Roadster order was placed through Paganiâs new atelier based in their brand new factory in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy. Limitation number 7 of 100 Huayra Roadsters completed its hand-built construction in October 2018 as a U.S.-market example. The original owner specified the Roadster with âExterior Layout 2â in bare Blue Danubio Gloss carbon fiber, so named after the Danube River that flows from Germany to the Black Sea. The mesmerizing exterior layout added 183.000⬠to the total. Additional exterior options selected at the time of ordering included Huayra wheels in Titanium finish, and an Interior & Exterior Aluminum set in Titanium. The interior was selected as âInterior Layout 2â in New Jeans & Anthracite leather, instrument Cluster Dials in Titanium Finish with an exquisite Two-Tone Luggage Set in carbon fiber and leather alone adding 21.500⬠to the price. A mysterious group of âAdditional optionsâ is listed as well totaling 32.100â¬. All told, this Huayra Roadster was optioned with over 279.000⬠(approximately $335,000) in factory options in 2018. Upon competition, the retail price of this magnificent Roadster reached 2.629.324⬠or approximately $3,154,400 at the time of ordering. The highly collectible, limited production Pagani was delivered through Paganiâs U.S. importer Pagani Worldwide to official dealer John Eagle of Dallas, Texas. The clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report records the rare Pagani was listed with 21 delivery miles on 30 March 2019 and the Roadsterâs Warranty Book records the original delivery date just a week later on 6 April 2019. At 23 miles the car returned to the dealership for a recommended maintenance, recall repairs, and upgrades to the headlights and front undertray deflectors. Sparingly used by the single private owner over their five years of ownership, today this rare Huayra Roadster is offered with just 99 miles at the time of cataloging. The sale includes its original window sticker, original books in leather folio, both Huayra-shaped keys in leather box signed by Horacio Pagani himself, optional luggage, and more. This 2018 Pagani Huayra Roadster, just one of 100 crafted at their brand new atelier, is a breathtaking masterpiece and a testament to Paganiâs relentless pursuit of perfection. Pagani aptly describes their cars as âa hymn to the Renaissance.â Combining extreme performance with smooth drivability, lightness with safety, and design with elegance, every component reflects scrupulous analysis and Horacio Paganiâs visionâthe unwavering aspiration to exceed expectations with a unique style.
