The Bentley chassis was delivered to an airplane pilot with the 6-cylinder Bentley engine. He built the vehicle according to his wishes as a racing car with an aluminum body. The pilot flew the Schneider Trophy, which is why the vehicle also has a Schneider Challenge airplane as a hood ornament. The first owner also raced with the Bentley. The Bentley later became part of a collection and continued to be used for rallies. It was first put into circulation in April 1951 in England.
