- The Catalunya was built to celebrate Colin McRae winning the Catalunya round of the previous year's World Rally Championship
- It was based on the UK 'Turbo 2000' with some attractive upgrades such as body colour-matched door handles and mirrors, red and black upgraded seats and door trims, a numbered plaque, air-conditioning, interior mats with logos and Limited Edition Catalunya badges
- The model sat on 16" gold alloy wheels, and like the previous McRae model, just 200 cars were produced by Prodrive. It was priced at £21,160 and entered dealerships in March 1997
- This is number #203 of 200 and possibly the last (some numbers are considered unlucky by the Japanese and not used)
- It's finished in Black Mica (tiny red flecks) with white alloys and a stylish red and black interior
