This particular example, from 1991, is one of the first of the new series and also among the first Espace V6 models. Powered by a 152-hp 2.8 V6 engine, it handles the lightweight 1,440 kg of this plastic-bodied Renault with ease, and the 5-speed manual gearbox offers surprisingly enjoyable driving dynamics.

This model is finished in Gris Pluron with a Velours Torsade interiorâthe most luxurious upholstery available at the time, standard on the V6 version. The 1991 brochure highlights seven different seating configurations for the seven seats, offering options ranging from 2 to 7 seats, a sleeping setup, and the ability to rotate the front or second-row seats. The second-row seats are also adjustable forward and backward and have reclining backrests.
