Our ULH dates from the first model year when the engine conversion of the UL series took place. The first flathead engines were available from 1929, but the pioneering and effective changeover to dry sump lubrication took place in 1937. The engines were now more reliable. A ULH from 1937 is a rarity in its own right. Our ULH was restored a few years ago and then only moved a few kilometres. The belly numbers match and also correspond to the 1937 model year. It is worth mentioning that the frame corresponds to the 1938 model year. German vehicle registration documents are available.
