Chassis No. 850548 Originally finished in Carmen Red over a Red interior, this right-hand drive 1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Roadster, chassis number 850548, was completed on 8 June 1962 and initially dispatched to London. While little is known about the car’s early history, it recently underwent comprehensive transformation to Pre ‘63 GT specification by the renowned E-type experts at Valley Motorsport in Wrexham. Equipment fitted during the comprehensive preparation included bucket seats with five-point OMP Racing and Schroth Racing safety harnesses, a fire suppression system, Sparco intercom, a Racelogic lap time display, and more. Visually, the Jaguar was renewed in classic British Racing Green and adorned with matching knock-off wire wheels and a dark green soft top. This Jaguar has been freshly prepared and stands ready to make its on-track debut in the Pre '63 GT Series or any of the many other historic racing events for which it is eligible thanks to its current FIA Historic Technical Passport vaild until 2029.
