It starts with an idea and leads to a stopover with us. The original T150 engine was completely dismantled and then rebuilt. The crankshaft was ground and the respective channels for the engine oil were cleaned so that the Carrillo connecting rods could be fitted. Not to be forgotten are the camshafts, which have also been ground. The pistons from Omega with a bore of 71.626 give the engine 850 cc. The pistons run in the new cylinder. Finally, the cylinder head is machined so that the engine can breathe properly. A new 5-speed gearbox rounds off the heart of the Trident. The ideal route had to be developed for the chassis and the adaptation of the exhaust system. New rims with a conical rear wheel hub and an original Fontana brake system in the front wheel were also fitted. The Mikuni round valves ensure the right fuel supply. The magazine MOTORRAD Classic has dedicated a nice article to our Trident in the 12/24 issue.
