The 911 GT3 RS is based on the 911 GT3 Cup race car and is produced as a street-legal model to meet homologation rules for competition purposes. Do you know what the name stands for? In 2006, the 997 GT3 RS followed. With 415 hp and a body with improved aerodynamics, this Porsche builds on the tradition. The 997 GT3 RS was lighter than the standard GT3 and was the first to introduce Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) electronic active damping. For the 2008 model year, Porsche produced only 803 units of the 911 GT3 RS, making it truly rare.
