The Mercedes 190 SL was presented at the time as an attractive, more affordable alternative to the exclusive Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. The 190 SL has the same basic styling, technology, detailing and fully independent suspension. The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL is a two-door super luxury roadster produced by Mercedes-Benz between May 1955 and February 1963.

The car was introduced at the 1954 New York Auto Show as a grand touring convertible, with a removable hardtop. From that moment on, the car was available as a convertible with a soft top or with a removable hard top. Some 25,881 units were produced, as it proved to be a very reliable and popular car. The Mercedes 190SL is considered one of the most attractive classic designs from the 1950s and 1960s.

Our Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was produced in 1958. About 12 years ago it was professionally restored by the 190 SL Specialists van Dijk in Rotterdam and is still in pristine condition. This Mercedes-Benz 190 SL has the classic combination of a silver metallic appearance, combined with a red leather interior. Complete with original toolkit documentation. The car's brakes have recently been overhauled. The car drives fantastic.
