The Aston Martin DBS was the successor to the Aston Martin DB6. The idea for the DBS came from Aston Martin who wanted a car that could handle the power of a V8 engine and that had a more modern look than its predecessors. And while the Aston Martin features still remained visible. The DBS was produced from 1967 to 1972, eventually making way for the Aston Martin V8. The DBS is also the last car made by legend David Brown.

A total of 802 Aston Martin DBSs were produced, including 309 in 1969.

This Aston Martin DBS
This Aston Martin DBS is a series 1. The first series was powered by the DB6 six-cylinder in-line engine. This was because there was a delay in the production of the V8 engine. The engine was not yet ready when the DBS was presented at Blenheim Palace on September 25, 1967. This Aston also contains the six-cylinder in-line engine with SU carburettors. In addition, this DBS is also recognizable as a series 1 due to the air vents behind the rear windows.

This Aston Martin was produced in 1969 and has matching numbers. It was repainted in 2016 in 'James Bond' green. The same color as that of the DBS in the movie “On Her Majesty's Secret Service.” The original name of the color is olive green.

The interior is still original and finished in black leather. Furthermore, this Aston Martin is still equipped with the beautiful wood inlay, which changed to black plastic shortly after the first half of 1969.

The mechanical work has recently been completely checked and the car drives very well.
