With Spring now upon us in the Northern Hemisphere we look ahead to a few major events happening from early May to early July 2023.
Starting things off from 19-21 May will be the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, taking place at Cernobbio in Italy
Classic cars are on full display at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, competing with each other and also with the glorious backdrop of Lake Como at this most stunning Italian location.
Established in 1929, this world-class concours never disappoints where you can expect plenty of sunshine and a diverse selection of the very best classic cars.
Tickets must be booked in advance, but entry is free on the Saturday. The impressive gardens of the 19th-century Villa Erba will be open for the public to explore on the Sunday.

The MG celebrates its Centenary in 2023 and a major event is planned for 27 May at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire, UK.
To celebrate this auspicious occasion of 100 years, many of the top MG clubs have joined together to create this centenary event, which will include a curated timeline display featuring 100 MGs, specialist MG trade stands, live music and much more.
Tickets also include entry to the museum, which has "Old Number One", still regarded as the first MG sports car, on display.

On the 3rd and 4th of June, we have the InterClassics Days of Elegance taking place in Valkenburg, The Netherlands.
This event made its debut in 2022 and the 2023 staging is eagerly awaited.
Held on the grounds of Château St Gerlach, the concours classes of 2022 included Elegant Tourers, Racing Legends, and Future Classics & Supercars. Visitors can also experience a gala evening, classic rally, daytime picnics and a great selection of classics.

The London Concours takes place from 6-8 June 2023 at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters, London, UK.
This is always an intimate, garden party event held in central London which, despite being a midweek concours event, always has a lot to offer in a compact space
From 11 am each day you are guaranteed a line-up of wonderful classic cars. The concours class themes in 2023 will include 60 years of Lamborghini, a category for French classics and one for green cars, while the final day is dedicated to supercars.

We could not complete this list of events without mentioning the Le Mans Classic from 29 June to 2 July 2023.
This year will see the celebration of 100 years of this legendary race at the Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans, France.
Usually a biennial event, the Le Mans Classic makes a special return in 2023 to mark its centenary. In 2022, over 200,000 spectators attended and over 800 racing cars were on view, with even greater numbers expected this year. Racing is reserved for models which competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours between 1923 and 1981 and many famous drivers are expected to be there.
