At SMDG our ethos for Ferrari and classic car restoration is to achieve perfection and to the level that we would expect if the car as if it was one of our personal vehicles. As a result of many restorations over the years we have the skills and experience to produce the finest possible finished article. 

The team of 60 engineers and craftsmen, based at our HQ, can restore any original parts of your vehicle that can be reclaimed, or reproduce them to original specifications in perfect detail. Our full concours-standard restorations can take around 3,500+ hours to complete, using a library of original drawings and diagrams developed by the car’s original engineers. We always try to source original parts but if they’re no longer available our craftsmen and technicians will create them in-house. In our fabrication shop, sheet metal and aluminium are rolled by hand with incredible precision to get the smooth lines and fit that historic vehicles demand. From panelling to air-conditioning system ducting, our in-house metalworkers produce stunning craftsmanship – even where it cannot be seen. Woodham Mortimer’s dedicated paint shop uses only the best materials, true to original paint codes or bespoke, and is equipped to carry out total bodywork restoration to our legendary high quality and finish. Woodham Mortimer restorations have won awards at some of the largest Concours d’Elegance events in the world, including Pebble Beach and Salon Privé. About REC: In 2014 fellow Danes Christian and Jonathan, two childhood friends, decided to merge their two passions for cars and watches and create something unique around these two obsessions. The concept behind REC is simple as there is no made up storytelling behind the brand, rather the storytelling is built directly within the watches as we incorporate components of automotive icons within our watches. The result is automotive watches unlike any other. Adding these small components within the watches creates a natural side effect as every watch truly unique, furthermore each run of watches is naturally limited due to the recycled automotive components. For each line of watches we create a unique design, as we strive to encapsulate all the design references from the particular car and boil them down into a watch design. Our goal is to create something that not only speaks to the enthusiast of the particular icon but also is an interesting watch in itself speaking to a broader spectrum of automotive enthusiasts. About the collaboration: The project began with California-based Gunther Werks posing a hypothetical question: What if Porsche had developed a 993 GT3RS?From the process of creating the 993 GT3RS, Gunther Werks offered us with the opportunity to use carbon fiber from the roof panels of the Exoskeleton and the Chelsea Grey build process. We then granulated and reforged this material with new carbon fiber to create the visible middle section of the 901 GW Exoskeleton and Chelsea case. Developed in close collaboration with Gunther Werks founder and CEO Peter Nam, these ultra-limited edition timepieces have been designed to capture the unique blend of rugged beauty and superlative performance that characterizes all Gunther Werks creations. Once this is complete, the car is fitted with a 4.0 L naturally aspirated air-cooled engine, hand-built and expertly tuned by Rothsport Racing to develop over 400 bhp and 330 lb/ft. Restoration of classic cars is the core of our business. Sometimes we bring a vehicle back to its original state in detail, at other times there are wishes for a more contemporary look. This is one of the reasons why we prepare every restoration with an extensive conversation. We map out all wishes and work closely together during the entire restoration. Because even if there is nothing left, Peet Classics makes everything to measure and ensures that the originality of the oldtimer is preserved. Upholstery is our specialty. We process leather and fabric with the best techniques and have specialist equipment in-house. Our sewing machines and workbenches are tailor-made for us so that we can get the best out of our material. For example, we are able to supply leather in any desired color. Our leather splitting machine enables perfect processing. In combination with the best quality leather and yarn and years of experience, this makes Peet Classics the specialist when it comes to classic car interiors. Chris Day, owner of Mack logistics, has been around classic and vintage vehicles all his life and has a healthy passion for all aspects of performance, classic and vintage cars. Being an owner operator of a 1968 Shelby Mustang as well as having access to several similar family owned cars, he has always been aware of the special commitment required for classic car ownership transport. Our background is in the transportation of high value printing equipment both within the UK and Europe and many thousands of miles have been covered without mishap. additionally we have been approached to undertake the safe delivery of unusual freight including large and fragile high value works of art. In many circumstance we have called upon our unique engineering background in order to build custom cages, restraints and lifting gear.

The Hodson Family have been servicing and restoring classic road cars and preparing historic race cars in Twyford, Leicestershire, for over 35 years.
