The Chevy 3100 Series, first made available in 1947, is one of the most iconic vehicle designs in history and is still seen on screen today. This Chevrolet model was the top-selling truck in the United States until it was discontinued in 1955. With a strong 3.5 litre in-line 6 six-cylinder engine and four speed manual gearbox the 3100 was a robust workhorse at a sensible price resulting in huge popularity and sales success.
Having been imported to the UK and registered in 2019 this pickup truck has been subject to significant refurbishment and has been repainted in a particularly attractive gunmetal metallic finish with bench seat also being retrimmed in black. Sitting on striking six spoke 17â chrome alloy wheels shod with new low profile Pirelli tyres, it looks every bit the part as a customised pickup without losing its intrinsic character. Fitted with modern LED headlights it also comes with a power assisted steering conversion kit which the current vendor was going to fit but didn't get around to, which would further enhance its useability. Exceptional bright work compliments the overall appearance of this classic 'Chevy' which comes with current V5c so it is ready to be used as indeed it was originally intended or would look totally at home at any custom car show.
